It would be for the whole entirety of .Hack. /Sign, G.U, Everything.

I would like to start off by saying Thank You to the staff for giving .Hack a chance to be white listed. My argument in favor of having Dot hack in this a fairly simple one. We already have characters from data-spaces already accepted in Li. Mostly some notable MegaMan characters such as Mayl and Roll Exe, specifically Roll Exe. But lets not forget the Data Space areas in the MegaMan Zero games. This is when Zero actively went from the Real World to a Virtual one using some strange doors. It was mostly a mechanic in MegaMan Zero 3 I believe.

Now for some other ways to help this along. Most of the Dot Hack series had some kind of link toward the game world through use of VR. Most of Sign from what I watched was enjoying the game but there were parts that stood out to me. Mainly parts where this game 'The World' actually affected the real world. Tsukasa being the very first example to my knowledge. Morganna and the Eight Phases were a thing in the first bits of the Dot Hack series. Heck they became a staple for Dot Hack Sign and Dot Hack Roots / GU. For you see Each Phase of The Cursed Wave was part of the Epitaph of Twilight which was the basis of the entire game that was 'The World'. Morganna was like a God of 'The World' as she was originally purposed to protect It but with Aura born as a fragile yet very likely an Ultimate AI, Morganna who was also an advanced AI sought to delay her growth and possibly destroy her. For that Morganna needed a host in a way and planned to use Tsukasa to do this.

Now since Morganna was essentially a God in 'The World', any data she collected and used could affect the real world for you see she was on human level of intellect and tried to halt the Evolution of Aura which Tsukasa was doing at first until she teamed up with Sora. Who by the way was the player Ryou Misaki otherwise known as the person who would eventually become Haseo in Revision 2 of The World. Sora is one of the reasons Tsukasa turned away from helping Morganna and instead of halting Aura, Tsukasa helped awaken her. Angry with Sora for betraying her she sent Skeith to deal with him. Skeith data-drained Sora and trapped his consciousness within his staff thus putting Ryou into a coma. It was only after Kite and his party defeated Corbenik that Ryou's consciousness was set free along with the remaining comatose victims.

All of the Cursed Wave were essentially pieces of Morganna so with each piece of her destroyed they essentially were destroying The World. With each wave defeated the condition of the actual world worsened due how we as a people are connected by the internet with machines and electricity. Every time Kite and Blackrose defeated one of the Phases things got worse but when they defeated Corbenik things were starting to look up. You see the cursed wave was defeated but it took a while for the real world to recover.

With Ryou returned to consciousness he had lost all of his memories of The World and eventually would make Haseo in Revision 2 of the game for you see it had almost been completely wrecked by the Cursed Wave and had to be rebuilt from the ground up. That and most of the data had to be recovered before a fire in the building destroyed it. A new threat was on the horizon though in R2 of The World called AIDA which was an AI capable of thought that was destroying The World in R2.

Special users were tasked with taking care of this threat called Epitaph Users who were for the most part connected to the Phases in some shape or form. Haseo eventually awakened Skeith which all the Epitaph Users had their data based on the real Cursed Wave. They had powers that could basically change the world around them using Avatars that could Data Drain and do a lot of real damage to The World. Aura showed up in R2 as well but was guarded by three Azure Guardians based on Sign's Heroes. Azure Kite, Azure Balmung and Azure Orca. They were in charge of protecting the world while Aura was asleep.

What I am getting at is basically that The World had affected the real world time and time again. Once in GU the entire player base could not log out as they were fused within a copy version of the game meaning they were trapped in Virtual Reality. It was Not a case like Sword Art Online however. They did Not die in real life if they died in the game. They were simply trapped. Everything felt real and they were indeed their characters for a short time. Basically with the Dataverse in mind from the Megaman Zero 3 game and Battle Network's way of bringing Data to the real world It's not unlikely that characters from The World would be thrown into Li like Haseo was. Haseo's consciousness is currently trapped in his character, if any other people from Dot Hack show up on Li I imagine the same goes for them too.

Things I can say will be added if Dot Hack is white-listed.

New Quests based on the Dot Hack series.

New Characters to apply for.

New Lore that can be explored from the basis of The World.

And lastly my idea for Li. A Data Verse if there isn't one already within the Life Sphere.

That's my stance on what we should do if Dot Hack is white listed. I know I will still be able to keep Haseo but I do want the opportunity to see this come to fruition. Thank you for listening to me talk about this with you all. I welcome the chance to hear your opinions on the matter.
