Years after the Subspace Emissary collapse, a mysterious explosion forced Nintendo Universes to a planet called Li.
A mystical force is said to be the cause of bringing everyone into a trap of noxious gas known as Starvia.
It is up to the new Smash Brothers of Li to step up and change the world through their actions.
Will you make the right choice?

One night, after you drift off into a deep sleep, you flit into consciousness, your dream becoming very lucid as you feel the stark sensation of falling. You fall through the cold void for what feels like a minute, and promptly followed by something warm and comfortable. Is it... a bed? And not just any bed - one extremely comfortable, and... bright pink?
You're not alone, either - others are with you, awakening in the same room. A room almost obnoxiously pink and bright, with stuffed animals aplenty and bright sunshine coming in through the (very glittery) curtains - you'd basically be drowning in how fluffy and happy this place is. And then, suddenly you're all met with a cheerful voice ringing through the air:
"Welcome to the dream!"
It's... a little girl. She matched the aesthetics of this place perfectly, with bright hair and a decorate pink dress. She'd be poking her head into the room, opening a door that was in the far corner to wake up her 'sleeping' guests. As the party would start getting up inevitably, though, she'd give a kind smile.
"Are you all still tired, sleepyheads. Is this your first time here? Get up, stretch a bit, and come out when you're ready! I'll show you how this place works!"
...And with that, she'd shut the door behind her, leaving the party to their own devices. If the party looked around, they'd be met with an almost royal bedroom. A picture of the girl they'd just met would be framed, hanging on the wall, and beside them, a bedside table with a glass of water, in case they got thirsty, and a note with a few guidelines.
Welcome to the Dream! I wrote down a few guidelines for you to follow!
- Please, please, please make sure to stay where I can see you! We've been having a little trouble lately, and I need to make sure you're where I can keep you safe! - If something seems like it's going wrong, it probably is! Please return to the Dream's lobby and alert me, and I'll take care of it. - If you play nice with your friends and follow the rules, I have an extra-nice reward for you! Ask me about it!
Besides that, anything goes! I hope you have a good time!
Crono rubs his eyes as if to make sure he saw everything correctly. The fact that he had woken up in a strange, new pink room had left him confused. He looks over to see the others trapped with him, which only causes his confusion to grow. He then looks at the table and reads over the note. Crono thinks about who he should talk to first and decides that maybe talking to the strange, small child might be more beneficial for him in the long run. Crono walks up to the small tour guide.
"So... you must have some idea as to what's going on here, right? What's with these rules? Stay where you can see us? If something's wrong it probably is? What kind of place are we in? Who are you?"
Reva's eyes would flutter for a few moments, the pair nearly closing again... until they suddenly shot open as the woman realized she wasn't in her home or bed. (Not like she'd fallen asleep in her bed away, she'd crashed on her couch without even remembering it.) A series of loud metallic clangs filling the air as she got up... still fully dressed in her armor. As it turns out... she fell asleep in it. Either that or she was genuinely so attached to it that it showed up even in her dreams.
"Where... is this?" She'd quietly ask herself before suddenly turning around and seeing the young girl walking in and greeting them. The knightly woman casually waving back to her a bit awkwardly.
She'd listen to what the girl had to say before looking over the note. The mint haired woman's head tilting a bit as she... managed to understand the rules, but the context behind even being here was still eluding her.
Poor girl hadn't had a good dream in ages, she didn't know where to start in one...
It was only after she heard Chrono speak that she actually realized she was with others. Her eyes growing a bit wide as she quickly stammered out a small greeting to the two.
"O-oh um... Hello. I'm Reva..." Yup... that's about the extent of her people skills right now. It certainly didn't help that she was a behemoth of a woman. Standing at 6'2" and covered chest to toe in heavy plate. The woman looked like the definition of TANK
However, after her awkward greeting... she'd shuffle out the door after Chrono. She didn't exactly want to get left behind here.
Reva HP = 190/190 Mana = 3/3 Shield = 0 Status: A bit awkward right now
Gunvolt wasn't used to having good dreams anymore. He had had nightmares for a long, long time, so to open his eyes to... Thiiiiis was baffling. Not only were there more people here, apparently he was being warned not to... Stray from the girl that just left? How did that make ANY sense? Let alone that there were other people here?
"What... Kind of place is this?"
He didn't buy the "Dream" explanation. Especially not when there were other people here he'd never met before. It just didn't make a lick of sense. Besides, he didn't dream of places like this.
"Oi... GV. I'm not sure how I feel about this. We've never shared a dream before, even in concept."
GV nodded to Joule as she spoke. That just furthered his doubts. Cautiously, he walked over to where the list was, and looked it over. ... He was growing progressively more doubtful about this situation by the second. His eyes narrowing in doubt, he followed the others out the door, and kept quiet for the moment. He didn't feel like introducing himself yet. Not in a potentially hostile environment.

Upon leaving their designated room, the party might expect to be met with less bright pink, and they'd have been dead fucking wrong. They would emerge into a hall... of sorts. It was more accurate to say that the party would be surrounded by a pink void, covered by clouds of the big, bright and fluffy variety if they tried to look into the distance. There wasn't much of a floor, per se - but the walkable area of the ground would be easily indicated by the occasional spot of bright light coming from the invisible walkways, and it would show that their path would lead them to a plaza of sorts, with a fountain that shot up - get this - vaguely pink water into an elaborate pattern that reached far beyond the outside of the fountain - only for the path of the water to abruptly and impossibly arc inwards to land in the fountain. How... bizarre.
Of course, if the party had any doubts about stepping onto what probably amounted to an invisible walkway, they'd at least have the reassurance of their host standing on before they could, patiently waiting outside of the door. If they stepped out, they'd be able to notice that their room was a door that appeared to be simply floating with nothing connected to it, with even the walls that they'd seen inside of the room invisible from the outside - and it wasn't the only door present, with several, color-coordinated doors for each person.
After they had a moment to take in the area that they now found themselves in, their host would give a hum, and introduce themselves:
"There you guys are! It's nice to meet you three. My name is Lavinia, and I'm gonna be your host while you're in The Dream!"
...She was bright and cheerful, and perfectly matched the area that the party had found themselves. She would turn away from the door and walk over to the fountain, taking a seat on the side of it. She decided to address all of Crono's questions as she addressed the things she was sure were on the party's mind.
"The Dream is a place where any of your wildest dreams can come true. If you want it and can imagine it, this place and I can take you there. There's just, um... a few things you're gonna need to keep in mind. You read the rules I left in there, right?"
"This place used to be risk-free, but lately, there's been this... thing that keeps showing up. You'll know it when you see it - it doesn't belong here at all, and every time it shows up, everything always just goes wrong." She sounded more distraught as she continued. "I want to do something about it, but it always runs away from me... So, until it gets dealt with, if you all see something that doesn't belong in your dreams, I need you to come get me, alright? I'll chase it off. I hope that sheds a little more light on the topic than some cryptic note..."
She finished her little spiel looking down to the floor, her face flushing in embarrassment. These guys weren't the first ones who had been all apprehensive after reading that note - maybe she should rewrite it? She made sure to mentally bump that up a bit on her priority list. She didn't like getting everyone all spooked.
"...But I promised a prize if you followed the rules for me right? It is - dun, dun, duuuuuh! - when you leave, if you play nice, I'll let you take something with you. Anything that's in your dream that you want to take! That's one the biggest powers I've got as the host here."
...As for the one who remained in the room instead of leaving, Ms. Pac-Man, when Lavinia stepped away from the room, the atmosphere would... change. Everything within the room was still pink, but it all became tinted with orange. If one were to glance outside, the sky would be darkening - sundown? Did sundown happen in dreams? If she stuck around in the room or looked around more, she'd be met with gradual adjustments made to the room as it became run-down in an almost time-lapse way, with dust gradually covering several of the surfaces and the water that Lavinia had left for them becoming obviously moldy.
Occasionally, and with just enough speed that Ms. Pac-Man might be able to wonder if she'd seen it in the first place, the light outside would disappear - and if she watched the windows, she might be able to catch sight of a figure with no discernable attributes besides 'humanoid' rushing past her field of view, blocking the light from entering the room at those moments.
It was still outside, and Ms. Pac-Man wasn't quite in any danger. Yet. But that might be her cue to leave.
Crono looks to the towering, awkward tank of a knight that followed him out, hearing her introduction. "It's nice to meet you Reva, my name is Crono. I hope we can get along." He smiles a little, hoping she'd feel a little less awkward. Looking at the other pair that followed him out, Crono lets out a sigh of relief. Perhaps he was worrying over nothing. He looks around to see more of the same sickeningly cutesy pink color in the halls. He might as well get used to it; the host must really like the color.
However, when Lavinia started answering questions, Crono immediately started feeling anxious again. "So what you're saying is some mysterious entity is showing up, and it's so obviously out of place you'd have to be blind to miss it? I guess that makes sense. Guess we're all going to stick together until we wake up or leave. Actually, that brings up another point. How do we get out of here or wake up? Is it just going to happen on its own?" While it was far too late to back out, Crono at least wanted to know what he was getting himself into and what the point of all of this was. A lot of this place still didn't make sense to him, but he could at least try to make some sense out of what was happening.
